Week 8 Journal Entry

This week I learned some good approaches and some bad approaches when selling any item. As we stood out in the windy and cold weather, we were able to see some good success with the amount of sales we had. We were optimistic of our plan, even though it was our third option for this assignment. We made The Family Crisis Centre the main focus of our sales pitch and it was probably our most successful tactic.

I really enjoyed the presentation in this week's class. I love the emphasis that the presenting group put on falling forward. Being able to recover and to learn from our mistakes is a huge part of our success whether we realize it or not. We need to learn from our mistakes and ultimately improve. It's a key part of our lives here on earth. It is exactly what our Father in Heaven wants us to do. I really want to implement this mindset in my everyday life and always strive to get up, dust off, and keep moving forward when I do inevitably fail.
