Week 13 Journal Entry

This semester has been a game changer for me. It has had its fair share of ups and downs, but in the end, it has truly changed my life and given me more of an eternal perspective than I had before. Before being in this class I knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur of some sort, but really had no grasp on what route I would go within being an entrepreneur. This class has helped me to recognize what really matters most for me when considering my future and where I want to be down the road. It has helped me pin point some of the things that I am passionate about such as serving others, spending time with loved ones, and even going into the clothing industry. I have been working with Dwight and Sarah on a project that we are confident will be a billion-dollar company someday. It has been so great getting to know them and working with them. They are some truly talented and intelligent individuals. They have taught me a lot and I am grateful for them and the opportunity I have to continue working with them in the future.

One of the biggest takeaways I have from this course is that I need to include God in every decision I make. Whether that is asking Him or just letting him know what my plan is. I know that with His help that I will do great things and truly make a difference in this world for the better. I know that my family will be my number one priority when a decision has to be made between my career or them as my loved ones. I know that God will guide me as I seek His help and ask Him what He has in store for my future family and I. He is ultimately going to make the biggest impact on my future and that is why I need to trust Him and rely on Him at all times. I also really enjoyed the case studies and the discussions we would have each week on what we would do in those same scenarios. It was great to put myself in those positions to help prepare me for the day when those kind of decisions will come around. Thank you Brother Wasden for helping me strengthen my testimony and also teach me the fundamentals of being and becoming an entrepreneur!
